Join us for Todd Kessler Presents: Songwriters in the Round at Hey Nonny! Hosted by Todd Kessler, this monthly event features a different group of singer-songwriters for each performance. Join the circle and get an up-close and personal musical experience.
April includes Todd’s featured artist Michael C. Hayes plus Marlon Longid and Dina Bach!
Michael C. Hayes is a singer/songwriter from Chicago, Illinois, most recognized for his signature vocal tone, individual songwriting style, and dynamic live performances. Hayes has performed across the country at famous music venues such as The House of Blues and The Dolby Theater. He continues to perform over 300 live shows each year including original music showcases, festivals, wedding ceremonies & cocktail hours, upscale restaurants and bars, private parties, and corporate events. For larger full band events, Hayes fronts Chicago’s premier cover band, True Company.
Marlon Longid cut his musical teeth with some of the finest musicians of this time, sharing the stage with roots-rock legend Rick Danko (The Band), Dennis De Young (Styx), Blues Traveler and Chicago R&B great Pete Special (Pete Special Band & Big Twist and the Mellow Fellows). After forming the rock group SoulFix in 1999 he and the band earned the right to rock on stage with national acts Staind, Maroon 5 and King’s X at esteemed venues such as CBGB’s, the Metro, Double Door and the House of Blues.
Dina Bach is a multi-talented pop/pop-country singer, songwriter, and musician based in Chicago. Her warm vocals and playfully evocative lyrics create a sound that is both original and approachable. Dina’s original music has been featured locally and
nationally, and “Summertime” from her 2016 EP, Kiss Me Like That, was featured in
Chicago Music Magazine’s local pulse for hot new music. Dina performs as a solo artist at various venues in the Midwest.
Calling Todd Kessler a singer/songwriter simply wouldn’t do him justice. The rising folk-rock star is the consummate storyteller, with a remarkable ability to take listeners on a winding, wonderful, and introspective journey through the depths of the human experience.
