About the Artist

Miggie Snyder is a singer, songwriter, musician, music director, and performer based in Nashville, TN. She was born and raised in Naperville, IL and began piano lessons at the age of four. At twelve, she began writing music and has been in love with it ever since. She spent my childhood performing in a variety of choirs, show choirs, and musicals around the suburbs of Chicago. One of her all-time favorite experiences was performing at Carnegie Hall with the Honors Performance Series Choir. She went to college at Western Michigan University and graduated summa cum laude with a BFA in Musical Theatre Performance and a minor in Non-Profit Administration. She performed professionally in a number of theatre shows before the pandemic hit in 2020.

​When the pandemic hit, she put all her energy into her writing. Her music has been called “theatrical pop” and has been compared to artists like Sara Bareilles and Ben Platt. She began releasing music in the spring of 2020 with her debut single, “Paris”. In the summer of 2020, her original song “Legend Lake” went viral, accumulating over 5 million views. In 2021, she released her debut EP titled “Beginning” featuring six original songs which she wrote and produced. In the beginning of 2022, she released her single “music man” which also went viral, accumulating 10 million views. In the summer of 2022, she went on her first tour around the midwest, playing in venues in Missouri, Illinois, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Iowa. Miggie is excited to be back in the Chicago suburbs playing another show, and is especially excited to be in Arlington Heights, where she spent much of her time growing up.
