About Matt Keen
Matt Keen is a multi-genre musician from Chicago, IL who has been honing his eclectic style for years. When playing with his self titled band or working around the country as a solo artist, Keen brings an unparalleled honesty and grit to his every performance. As he begins to gain notoriety around the Midwest and cities he has visited all over, this one of a kind performer is trying to bring a renewed passion to live and original music.
His debut solo album ‘Restless Days’ – released in April of 2020 is an 8 track southern rock renaissance with nods to early Skynyrd and Allman Brothers Band. Hints of John Mayer and Santana style songwriting throughout ‘Restless Days’ are a confident step forward in a new chapter of Keen’s career. Working with artists like Samantha Fish, Jimmie Vaughan, Tesla, and Eric Gales in the last few months have spurred a major creative stint for this unique artist and have led to finishing songs for his next record. His sophomore album entitled ‘Tillerman’ is set for release this Fall and with the steam he’s building behind the project Keen feels this will be the one to put him on the map.
About Emma Butterworth
Chicago songwriter Emma Butterworth is carving a niche for herself in the American indie scene with her uniquely soulful brand of indie-leaning folk rock. A keen storyteller and careful lyricist, she cuts straight to the heart of life’s big questions, examining moments of love, loss, growth, and self-acceptance with characteristic wit and wisdom. Her cheeky stage presence reveals a curious mind and a penchant for deeply melancholic songs, while her lush vocals have been compared to iconic acts like Brandi Carlile and The Head and the Heart. There’s a casual power when Butterworth sings that feels both practiced and raw: agile, occasionally vulnerable, but always sure—hers is a voice you’d follow in an emergency. The root of that strength lies in her own, joyful sense of self, which infuses even her most somber ballads with a buoyant, silver-lined charm.
